GOMBAK, 9 December 2021: IIUM students are invited to join the Journalism e-Colloquium programme organised by final year journalism students from Communication and Media Studies Faculty, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The 44th colloquium of its kind will be held online and the main theme for this year will be “Transcendence in Journalism: Defining Journalistic Values in Content Creation”.
The webinar is expected to be attended by staff, UiTM communication students as well as students from other local and international higher educational institutions.
The colloquium is divided into two events for students. The first event being the pre-event which will take place on 13 December from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. It will be held on Cisco Webex and the theme of the pre-event would be “Navigating Through Network Navigation”.
The main colloquium event will be held on the 18 December and further divided into two sessions. The first session will be from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. with the theme, “The Evolution of Journalism Landscape: Challenges and Opportunities of the Modern Journalist”. The second session will be discussing the main theme of the colloquium from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
