GOMBAK, 14 October 2021: Amir Haziq bin Razin from IIUM Art Club had received an invitation to display his portrait art works in The Brick Lane Gallery, London.
“Your ability to capture detail and shadow through your artwork amplifies your talent as a contemporary artist,” said Alice Castiglione, the gallery assistant of The Brick Lane Gallery.
The exhibition of portrait arts at the gallery on 4 to 17 January 2022 would allow artists to display and sell their artworks. The gallery had contacted Amir through email on 13 October 2021 after viewing his art portfolio on Instagram, @qizahrima.
An expert in hyper realism portrait art, Amir Haziq is a fourth year student of the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences majoring in English Language and Literature and is one of the earliest members of IIUM Art Club.
This international invitation is a proud moment for IIUM as it recognises the many talents of the university’s community such as Amir Haziq.***
