GOMBAK, 29 September 2021: The returning students and new students of IIUM are subjected to the assigned dates in ensuring a systematic return in phases to IIUM campuses.
Following the IIUM Official Guideline for Campus Reopening 01/2021, students who are fully vaccinated may enter campuses starting 15 October 2021 in stages and they should obtain approval from their respective Kulliyyah prior to entering the campuses.
The schedule of students returning to campuses was issued by the Office of Deputy Rector (Academic & Internationalisation) to ensure health monitoring and mitigation process between each batch of the returning students to be carried out systematically.
The university has given priority to the categorised students to enter the campuses such as students with face-to-face requirements, students without internet access and unconducive learning environments, and also students with special needs abilities.
For students of Gombak and Kuala Lumpur campuses, they may enter the campuses according to the assigned dates beginning 15 October 2021 but they are subjected to the first-come first-served basis due to limited room capacities.
In addition, students of Pagoh campus should return to campus in stages according to their level of studies which also starts from 15 October 2021. The priority is given to students with special requirements and Remote Teaching and Learning difficulties.
However, students of Kuantan campus are also allowed to return to campus in phases and the dates of returning are to be determined by the Office of Campus Director, Kuantan.
Students are advised to go through the updated Schedule of Students Returning to Campus for Semester 1, 2021/2022 to check out the specific returning dates for students of all IIUM campuses.***
