GOMBAK, 29 July 2021: To acknowledge the hard work of members of the IIUM Community, IIUM Takrim 2021 was held online on Tuesday (27 July) via YouTube channel.
There were a total of 37 categories of awards for the winners.
The Rector of IIUM, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, expressed his gratitude on how IIUM has gotten a lot of achievements and how it is worth to be celebrated.
“To this, I think we have achieved a number of milestones. We have also achieved some very significant steps and today is for us to recognize these achievements not only as individuals but more importantly as a group of the community, as a group of students, staff, and also the community around us,” the Rector added.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Masjuki Hassan from Kulliyyah of Engineering was awarded the Murabbi Award 2021 together with Prof. Dato’ Dr. Osman Bakar from International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation.
“It is my sincere hope that good value embodied in the Murabbi tradition can be further strengthened in the future,” said Prof. Dato’ Dr. Osman Bakar.
Furthermore, Dr. Mohd Adli Md. Ali from Kulliyyah of Science won the overall category in the Highest Citation in Indexed Journal Award.
