COVID-19 update: 1,096 new cases and three deaths recorded today

GOMBAK, 23 November 2020: The number of new cases of COVID-19 is increasing to 1,096 including six imported cases, which makes the total number of infected cases to 54,775 and 12,843 active cases.

According to Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, Selangor recorded the highest number of cases which is 603 cases followed by Sabah with 311 cases.

Besides, Malaysia’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) reported that 106 positive cases are treated in the Intensive Care Unit, while 46 cases still need respiratory assistance.

Three deaths were reported today which makes the total of deaths due to COVID-19 to 335 cases. 

Moreover, the cases of patients that had recovered from COVID-19 for today is 1,104 cases which also increased the total of recovered patients to 41, 597 cases.***
