GOMBAK, 15 November 2020: The MyCSO Capacity Building Programme held from 15 to 17 November provides building courses, knowledge and experience shared by the practising community for the sector aimed at enhancing and empowering talents in civil society organisations.
These programmes manifest the idea to catalyse the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 within the talents and will be held using the Facebook live platform, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m daily.
Each training session panel and topic will be disclosed in the Official MyCSO Facebook account a few hours before the event commenced virtually at 9 a.m.
The training sessions presented for the first day are wide-ranging from leadership, governance, development and management. The sessions held are:
- Leadership & Change Management for CSO by International CSO Strategy & Leadership Expert Dr Sudeep Mohandas
- SDG Mapping for Development Sector by Assistant Profesor of Urban & Regional Planning, Kulliyyah of Architecture & Environmental Design (KAED), IIUM.
- Project Development for Civil Society Organisation by Managing Director of Philandure Khalid Kamil
- Good Governance for Development Sector by Legal and Governance & Strategy Director of Philandure Nurul Anuar
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning in Project Management by International Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Expert James Raj
- Risk Management for Development Sector by Anti-Money Laundering Expert Malaysia Nazri Shaidon
IIUM Students are given free admissions to the programme and the live recording of training sessions can be accessed at the Official MyCSO Facebook account.
