GOMBAK 10 July 2014: The Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS) brought cheers to its academic and administration staffs and their family members today when they were treated to a scrumptious iftar meal.
This took place at the centre court of Human Sciences building where guests were treated to a variety of dishes and desserts in buffet spread which offered a multiple choice of meals.
On the menu were Arabic delicacies consisting of chicken, lamb, and mandy rice.
The desserts were also equally tantalising with local kuih-muih, dates and watermelon.
One of the attendees, Hafiz, expressed his gratitude for the treat saying, “I am very happy to break my fast with my colleagues and family here.”
Also present at the iftar was the Dean of KIRKHS, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim M. Zein and former IIUM Rector, Prof. Dato’ Seri Dr. Syed Arabi Idid.
