GOMBAK, 5 June 2020: To ensure the safety of the students, an official guideline concerning standard operating procedures (SOP) for students to go out from the campus has been released by IIUM Sejahtera Council earlier today.

Starting from Saturday (6 June) students who are currently staying in the campus are allowed to go for outing but they must return to campus by 4 p.m and are not allowed to stay overnight outside of campus.

Students have also been advised to practice social distancing and observe good hygiene at all times during outing and they are also prohibited from going to any designated Red Zone areas. The information regarding these areas can be accessed from http://covid-19.livephotos123.com/red-zones

For safety reasons, students must install and activate the MySejahtera and MyTrace applications on their smartphones.

However, students who are living outside the campus are still not allowed to return to all IIUM campuses and this is also in line with the official announcement that has been issued by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).***
