GOMBAK, 4 March 2020 – The values that potential students inherit are more important than the amount of A’s that they get, stressed IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato Dzulkifli Abdul Razak.
He said this when asked about the criteria to enrol in IIUM during the “Jom Masuk UIAM 2020” this morning. The programme which was held at IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC) aimed to explain the courses and the requirements to enter the university for secondary school students and SPM leavers who look forward to enrol in IIUM soon.
Among the programmes that were conducted throughout the day were forums and talks about university requirements, online UPU registration and briefings from every Kulliyyah. There were also exhibitions from many Kullliyyah that sought to expose the participants with information about their departments and courses offered.
“I hope this programme will guide me on how to enrol in this university,” said Leman Mustaqim, 19, who plans to join the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS).
The “Jom Masuk UIAM 2020” programme was launched today by IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato Dzulkifli Abdul Razak together with Mr. Wahi bin Nordin from the Ministry of Higher Education as a guest of the Takrim 2020 event.***
