GOMBAK, 6 December 2019: As an initiative to encourage IIUM students to enrich their knowledge in cultures, the Office of International Affairs (IO) will be organising Global Ummatic Festival starting this Sunday (8 December).
The festival on the theme “Sharing and Caring for the Ummah” will take place at IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC) from 8 to 12 December from 8.00 p.m until 10.00 p.m.
The main objective of this festival is to give exposure to the IIUM community to the diversified cultures of the International students as well as to exchange ideas and norms among the international and Malaysian students.
This festival also aims for students to gain experience from a variety of activities that they have not done before.
This event will feature activities which include sports, food fair, talent competition, cultural performance, lady’s night and more.
Students who are interested to participate, kindly download application form to join the Student’s Activities Unit Programme. Those who are interested to attend this festival are free to just walk in.***
