GOMBAK, 5 December 2019: A course on Islamic Funeral and Death Rites or better known in Malay as ‘Kursus Pengurusan Jenazah’ will be conducted this Saturday (7 December).
Organised by the Dakwah and Tarbiyyah bureau of Mahallah Sumayyah and Nusaibah Representative Council, the programme will be held at the Multipurpose Hall, Mahallah Sumayyah from 8.00 a.m. until 1.20 p.m. It will conducted in Malay.
The course is intended to introduce and educate the public with the proper knowledge and guidance on how to handle the funerals according to the practice and teachings of Islam by covering the basics of theory and practical chapter of the ritual.
The organising committee of this programme has invited everyone to participate and learn the rites of handling ‘jenazah’. The entrance is free-of-charge for IIUM students but a fee of RM10 will be charged for the general public at the registration counter for the general public and IIUM staff.
