GOMBAK, 30 October 2019 – An Intellectual Discourse on “Bias and Islamophobia in Popular Culture” will be held this Friday (1 November) featuring prominent speaker, Dr. Anas Shaikh Ali, the Director of Publications of International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), who is also the Chairman of Association of Muslim Social Scientists (AMSS), United Kingdom.
The event will take place at Al-Tabari Conference Room, HS Building level 3, IIUM Gombak campus here, from 10 a.m to 12.00 noon.
Organised by the Department of Communication and the Department of Political Science, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS), in collaboration with the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) of East and South Asia, this programme serves as a great platform to spread the knowledge and discuss related issues with the expert party.
