GOMBAK, 19 October 2019: The Economics Theatre Night 2019 held at Main Auditorium in campus here Thursday night, featuring two performances ‘Yang Hak’ and ‘Chermin” in one night, gained unexpected support from the audience.
‘Yang Hak’ and ‘Chermin’ highlighted an issue commonly occurring in our community – that is money. The two different performances managed to catch the attention of the audience until the end of the show.
“Alhamdulillah, tonight’s audience was beyond our expectation as we were competing against other theatrical performances. Seeing almost the entire hall filled with the audience, it was a huge success for us,” said the event’s programme manager, Syed Muhammad Azizzuddin.
“The presence of students from other kuliyyah too has helped to achieve our objective of introducing the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS) to the IIUM community,” he added.
The theatre was organised by Bachelor of Economics Council (BECS), KENMS, in collaboration with production house, Kertas Production. It was directed by Muhammad Faiq Irfan and it involved 9 casts, 27 crew and a management team from BECS ***
