GOMBAK, 18 September 2019 – All classes and outdoor activities on 18 and 19 September within Gombak and Kuala Lumpur campuses have been directed to be postponed due to the current haze which had reached an API (Air Pollutant Index) reading of more than 200 for the last four hours.
The announcement was made in a statement by the university’s Deputy Rector (Academic and Industrial Linkages), Prof. Dr. Isarji Hj. Sarudin via IIUM official twitter account. The replacement classes will be arranged by the respective lecturers, the statement added.
Students have been advised to stay indoors for the sake of health and future activities. ***
