“Rhythm of Hope” to increase awareness on the disabled

GOMBAK, 28 October 2018 – In conjunction with the upcoming “International Day of Disabled Persons”, celebrated on 12 December every year, final year Communication students (Commbest18) will stage “Rhythm of Hope” on 7 November aimed to increase awareness on disability people among the campus community.

The significance of this charity night lies in the effort to display that art does not discriminate people and that art is universal where everyone has the right to creativity.

Among those performing at the concert will be disabled artists like Caliph Busker and Fiena who are now becoming famous in the music industry. There are also performances from other popular Malaysian artists such as Lah Ahmad and In-team. Azrulkhan Hasrullah, who became the first disabled climber to have conquered Everest Base Camp, will deliver his talk.
