IDGAC Sports Day to cherish œspecialities

GOMBAK, 19 October 2018: Students Representative Council (SRC) will be holding  IDGAC  Sports Day during Deepavali holiday on 6 November with a tagline ˜Run with disabled at Convest Hill, IIUM here in Gombak for the university community and public.

IDGAC is the acronym for IIUM Disability  Grand Awareness Campaign. The event will start from 7.30 a.m. and expected to end at 11 a.m.

This is a charity event and interestingly, participants get to choose the package they prefer. Below is the list of packages:

Standard package
RM 37 (IIUM)
RM 47 (Public)

Group package
RM 71 (2 pax)
RM 106 (3 pax)
*With one special family member.

However, special prices are awaiting for disabled at RM26 with 30 per cent discount.

The advantage of joining this programme is that participants will get T-shirt, Medal, E-certificate, and star points (for IIUM students only). For further clarification, SRC is opening a booth at ITD area from 8.30 a.m until 5 p.m.

Students are encouraged to participate because it is not only for fun but it is also breaking out sedentary lifestyle, making out new friends as well as raising awareness of ˜specialities people around us.
