“Symphony of Love”- Calling for donations in aid of the ‘Orang Asli’

GOMBAK, 6 October 2018: “Jalinan Siswa bersama Masyarakat Orang Asli IIUM” (JASA IIUM) is looking for donations to hold a community service event named ‘Symphony of Love’ in Kampung Orang Asli Pos Yum, Sungai Siput, Perak that will be held from 27 until 29 October 2018.

The donations have four categories:

Package A: RM 20 (Food Stuff)

Package B: RM 15 (Hygiene Kits)

Package C: RM 10 (Stationery)

Package D: General Donation

Programme Manager, Syafiq Shafie said that the main objective of this community service programme towards the aborigines is “to spread and strengthen the knowledge of Islam among the people there besides to acknowledge them on the importance of education.”

This village has total of 40 houses with approximately 251 residents from 60 families staying there.

Named “Symphony of Love”, this time JASA Club is introducing the theme of “Islamisation and Education”.

“Through this programme we hope that we can get closer to Allah in order to get His countless blessings and also to strengthen the spirit of ukhuwwah  between the aborigines and all JASA Club members,”  Assistant Programme Manager, Hajar Nabihah added.
