GOMBAK, 5 October 2018: Despite the common belief among Muslims towards the presence of Dajjal, it is important that the reminder be made continuously with comprehensive guidelines.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amanullah of the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh said Muslims must have knowledge about Dajjal’s attributes and mischiefs.
“During the time of this fitnah, daily prayers should be performed by estimating the duration of a day. Due to scarcity of foods, recitation of special du’a is essential to be performed,” he said when presenting a paper on ‘Guidelines of Islam for Handling the Fitnah of Dajjal’ at the International Conference on Religion, Culture and Governance in the Contemporary World (ICRCGC 2018) held yesterday (4 October 2018).
Amanullah said: “It is necessary to have strong iman and make supplication to Allah for protection from Dajjal’s fitnah. Muslims should perform the recitation of verses of Surat al-Kahf and also consider that Dajjal’s hellfire is paradise and his paradise is hellfire.”
“Muslims should avoid meeting Dajjal intentionally and also must conduct collective jihad against Dajjal and his force. In the case of meeting Dajjal, it is necessary to dispute with Dajjal and they must believe that `Isa will descend from the sky and kill Dajjal.”
He added, “The most important thing among what should not be done are as follows. Muslims must not believe in Dajjal’s claim of being a prophet as well as not to believe in Dajjal’s claim of being God. Also, Muslims must not believe in his power of making dead animals and people alive, and not to join Dajjal’s followers, as well as not to receive any help from Dajjal.”
The session was held at Al Juwaini Meeting Room of IRK Building. ***
