‘Tabung Harapan’ fund to ease burden of the orphanage

GOMBAK, 3 October 2018: The funds from ‘Tabung Harapan’ will be channelled to the orphanage in many programmes conducted by Caring Club, said the programme manager of SAYANG’18, Nurulain Nadhirah Abdul Muen at the opening ceremony of SAYANG’18 on Monday (1 October) night.

The purpose of holding a mass event for the first time ever for Caring Club is to train the orphans in education and enable them to further their studies until university level under the care and supervision of this club.

“We plan to focus more on the orphan’s welfare for one of the orphanages under our care, that is yet to have a fixed house to stay, which is Raudhatul Jannah house,” she added.

Around 50 committee members which include the non-members of Caring Club were involved and the overall cost to officiate its opening is estimated to be only around RM1500++.

The opening ceremony of SAYANG’18 was attended by Assistant Director of UCCE-BUDI, Mohd Hakimi Badrol Affendi, Advisor of Caring Club, Dr. Norhaslinda Jamaiudin, as well as the orphanages from Raudhatul Jannah and Darul Ilmi house.***
