GOMBAK, 24 August 2018: Fujifilm (Malaysia) will be organising a photo exhibition “Shoot. Print. Share” (SPS) for the second consecutive year. Themed “My Favorite Story”, the exhibition is expected to showcase 8,000 photos and will be held in Sunway Pyramid from 29 October until 4 November this year.
This is an initiative by Fujifilm Malaysia as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programme. A total sum of 20% from the sales will be allocated to several NGOs such as National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM), Malaysian Care, Unicef and several other NGOs.
In conjunction with this event, Fujifilm (Malaysia) invites IIUM community to participate in this photo exhibition by submitting their photos online and stand a chance to win prizes worth more than RM100,000.
Fujifilm Malaysia Managing Director, Fumiaki Sato, said that the main objective of “Shoot. Print. Share.” photo exhibition is to preserve the culture of photography whilst breaking the communication walls and bringing people together.
“We hope to achieve this by creating a space where photographers, experts and novices alike, and the public, can meet and have a dialogue on photography whilst shining light on the uniqueness, beauty and charm of photographs taken.
The grand prize winner will be receiving RM2,000 cash prize, a Fujifilm XT20 camera worth RM4,422 and a Best 111 Photo Book worth RM188.
Two first prize winners will each receive RM1,000 cash prize, a Fujifilm XT100 camera worth RM3,288 and a Best 111 Photo Book worth RM188.
Three second prize winners will each receive RM500 cash prize, a Fujifilm Instax SQ10 with film worth RM1,297 and a Best 111 Photo Book worth RM188.
Meanwhile, five third prize winners will each receive a Fujifilm SP3 with film worth RM892 and a Best 111 Photo Book worth RM188. The ‘111 Best Photos’ will each get a Fujifilm Instax SQ6 worth RM598 plus a Best 111 Photo Book worth RM188.
