GOMBAK, 12 March 2018: An international seminar on media and communication under the theme ‘Global Media: The Current and the Future Challenges’ will be held on 25 September this year at IIUM campus, Gombak.
Organised by the Department of Communication, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS), the seminar aims to provide a platform for students, academics and practitioners to discuss and share their thoughts on issues related to communication.
The charges for those intending to attend the seminar will be as follows: RM100 (non-presenter), RM150 (student presenter). Presenter: RM300 (Malaysian)/ USD 150 (international).
Among important dates are Abstract submission: 31 May 2018, Full paper submission: 29 June 2018. Notification of acceptance will be made on 29 July 2018 and registration / payment deadline is 31 August 2018.
The keynote speaker will be Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TV Alhijrah, Dato’ Hj. Izelan Basar, who will deliver his address on 25 September.
