GOMBAK, 1 March 2018 – ENGINIUS XXIII is inviting all IIUM community and outsiders to participate in the Velocity Run on Saturday (7 April) at Taman Layang-Layang Metropolitan Kepong, aimed at making it one of the events that supports ENOVEX’18.
ENOVEX ’18 is an annual event organised by the Engineering Students’ Society (ENGINIUS) in collaboration with Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia. Velocity Run is one of the early promotions of ENOVEX’18.
Velocity Run will be divided into two categories which are 4km and 8km.
ENOVEX’18 programme manager, Muhammad Muzakkir Zulkifli, said, “I hope the event will bring success to society and reach the targeted participants in achieving its aim.”
There will be prizes for the first three finishers, both male and female in 8km category, and the registration will be closed on 2 March. Participants will be provided with race kits and finisher kits such as T-shirt, race bib, drawstring bag, certificate and medal.
Meanwhile, assistant programme manager, Muhammad Afiq Abd Razak, 23, said, “Hopefully this event will achieve its objective in generating income for financial support of ENOVEX’18 by engaging the IIUM community as well as outsiders to live a healthy lifestyle.”
