Special call for IIUM community to attend Subh Hour

GOMBAK, 14 December 2017 – The Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque Office is inviting all Muslims at IIUM Gombak to the Subh Hour on Friday (15 December) at SHAS Mosque.

The congregational Subh prayer aims to give participants the opportunity to feel the wonderful spirit early in the morning through the Islamic way besides refreshing their energy after the hectic week.

The programme will begin on Thursday (14 December) with Forum Mabit titled ˜The New Version of Me, 2018 by Mr. Zainul Afif Zainal Abidin at 8.45 p.m and will be closed with Subh Lecture on ˜Pejuang Subuh: Misi Rahmatan Lil Alamin by Dr. Nik Saiful Azizi after the prayer.

In collaboration with Imaratul Masjid Group (i-Masjid) and Students’ Representative Council (SRC) IIUM Gombak and supported by Maruf Club, PEMBINA, PKPIM and HARMONI, it is hoped to enlighten the mosque by the participation of all IIUM community.

With the theme ˜Work as one, work for One, the i-Masjid president highlights the importance of congregational Subh prayer as an indicator for the quality of the ummah.

œThe congregational prayer during Subh as a discipline and life education for our daily routine as Muslims should be calm when putting the full obedience to Allah to be the best khalifah, Mohamad Izzuddin Rafi said in his speech.

All participants will be provided with food, and bus transportation for female students will be available from Mahallah to the mosque.
