Alumni invited for last reunion at PJ campus: Opportunity to reminisce

GOMBAK, 14 December 2017 – Calling all alumni of IIUM Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) for the last reunion on its campus in Petaling Jaya.

The Office of Alumni Relations Division is organising an event this Saturday (16 December) at IIUM CFS Petaling Jaya campus before its closure and handing over to Lembaga Kolej Islam Malaysia (LARKIM) on 31 December this year.

The event is expected to be joined by former Dean of Admission and Records, who is currently the Regional Representative for International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Wira Dr. Jamil Osman, alongside former Deputy Dean for CFS Petaling Jaya, Mr. Mohd Khair Ngadiron who is now the director of the Malaysian Institute of Translation & Books

The programme which is open to the public will begin from 9.00 a.m and end at 6.00 p.m. Several activities such as football and netball tournaments and performances by the students will be held on campus grounds on that day. The organisers will also provide food truck services for participants.

Individuals wishing to participate in the event may register at An entrance fee of RM10 will be charged per person.

Since its establishment in July 1985, the IIUM Petaling Jaya campus had produced thousands of graduates. It formerly functioned as the main campus.

The IIUM community, particularly the alumni of CFS campus, has been invited to take this opportunity to reminisce their memories of the old days cherished on the campus. The IIUM PJ campus buildings will soon come under the sole administration of LARKIM. ***
