GOMBAK, 2 December 2017: After three months of operating, student-friendly COSA corner is closing their business as the semester comes to an end. Last Wednesday (November 29), loyal customers were treated with free food.

Earlier, COSA Corner had prepared 130 coupons for students to get their free meal. This initiative was part of their corporate social responsibility and obligation. The event was attended by Communication lecturers, staffs and IIUM students, all coming together to celebrate the event.

The Programme Manager, Nur Fatini Hajidah Abd Ghoni said that the main objective was to value all of COSA Corner customers for their support. Despite being opened for just three months, COSA Corner has exceeded their profit target compared to that of last semester. COSA Corner has also gone through so much improvement especially in terms of management.

“For the next tenure, I think more improvements needed in terms of providing food variety, as well as in the management part which is a main concern,” Fatini said.

Acting Dean of KIRIKHS, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Quayum Abdus Salam attended the ceremony as the VIP, alongside the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhamad Fuzi Omar. Not to mention, all the food suppliers for COSA Corner were also invited to attend the ceremony.

The ceremony ended successfully with empty plates and joyful hearts for the participants.***
