IIUM students attend mega Career Fair

GOMBAK, 16 November 2017 -  Around 15 to 20 IIUM students had the opportunity to attend Career Fair held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 11 and 12 November from 11 am until 7 pm.

The Fair was conducted by mystarjob.com aimed at providing better solutions and innovative and diversifying career options for interns and fresh graduates.

The Career Fair saw participants from about 50 companies including Honda, SP Setia, Teledirect Telecommerce, Eco world, Arvato, Worldwide Holdings Bhd and Malaysian Institute of Technology Academy.

The expo was inclusive of career talks and psychometric test. Participants even got their resume checked at the fair.

œIt was a great day for me as I could gain new insights into the opportunities available for me in the job market. Ive given my resume to many companies and now I am hoping that they will call me for my internship, said Fida Arackal an Engineering student from IIUM.

Apart from full-time employment opportunities, students who were still in their first or second year of their studies also participated, but they were looking out for internship and industrial training opportunities.

Visitors to the final day of the Fair took part in the special lucky draw and won attractive prizes.***
