Fly High event to help job-seeking IIUM students

GOMBAK, 26 October 2017: IIUM students will get the chance to explore job hunting strategies and meet the people of the industry in ‘Fly High’ event happening this weekend (28 to 29 October).

Organised by the IIUM Counseling and Career Services Centre in collaboration with the Alumni and Relation Division, the event will take place at IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC) from 8.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m.

Students will be exposed to job hunting strategies, tips for outstanding resume, latest ideas from industries, tips for job seekers, workshops, forums, and many more.

Reputable companies taking part are Jobstreet, Graduan and other top-notch companies from various sectors. IIUM Alumni who are working in leading companies will also be present at Fly High event.

Fly High aims to expose students to the job fields, according to the event’s Head of Media, Alfi Syukrina Hadi.

IIUM students are encouraged to be engaged in this event because it helps them in their preparation to seek for jobs, be aware of usual mistakes done by job seekers, and increases students’ knowledge on various challenges and competitors.

This event is compulsory for final year students, including those who are seeking for an internship placement. Students who attend the event will receive star points.***
