GOMBAK, 28 September 2017 – The campus community will have a chance to participate in the ‘Indonesian Carnival’ which will be held today from 12.40 p.m to 2.00 p.m from Aikol’s Moot Court to the Azman Hashim building.
Organised by the Indonesian Association of IIUM (PPI-IIUM) in conjunction with ‘Indonesian Day’, the programme during the event would include an angklung performance and a flash mob.
Coordinator of ‘Indonesian Carnival’, Sarah Putri, stated that the objective of this programme is to introduce traditional clothing and arts from Indonesia. Moreover, she added that “it is partly inviting the IIUM society to come to the ‘Cultural Night and the Closing Ceremony of Indonesian Day’ ” which will be held on 29 September from 7.00 p.m to 11.00 pm.***
