GOMBAK , 27 April 2017 – Classic, Awesome and Fantastic! These words are actually meant for none other than the crew members and casts of Kebayan Charity Theatre which was successfully held from 24 until 26 April at the Main Audi drawing almost full house attendance.
The two-hour theatre, with the theme of Malay folks tale known as Kebayan, and filled with surprised elements in terms of lighting and audio, gained a lot of attention and compliments from the audiences.
The most significant part of this theatre was when the Kebayan revealed her true identity and when Hang Tuah met Puteri Gunung Ledang. Not only that, this theatre was filled with musical elements that kept the audiences glued to the show till the end.
Meanwhile, on social media, Twitter especially, the audience kept giving their compliments to the crew and casts of this event.
One of the users known as Haffizi wrote in his account, “Actors were great, costumes were on point and makeup were on fleek.” Another user SyazanaShaiful wrote “I really love the sets and props. Again the costumes and accessories are all superb! #KEBAYANIIUM”.
Kebayan Charity Theatre was organised by MISI Club in collaboration with production house, Twinkle Studio. It was directed by Rowin Berahim and it involved 25 casts, 15 crew and a management team from Misi Club.***
