GOMBAK, 9 April 2017: A recycling campaign aimed at raising awareness about environment and importance of recyling will be held this entire April.
In collaboration with Students’ Representative Council (SRC), this campaign is organised by IIUM Engineering Society (ENGINIUS).
The programme manager, Zainab Shifa said, “I have always been concerned about the environment and always wanted to have a green campain which is something that is lacking here (in IIUM campus).”
Among interesting activities that will be held during this campaign are flashmobs, a visit to recycling company, a recycling workshop and a design competition.
“We hope the IIUM community will continue to practise recycling and be concerned of the environment even after the campaign ends,” she added.
The opening ceremony for this recycling campaign will be held on Monday (10 April) at 8p.m, at ENGIN Main Auditorium.
