GOMBAK, 14 November 2016: Convocation fiesta is back with Stall and Exhibition 2016 (Stanex 2016) located at the Convest Hill IIUM, from 4 to 9 November, organised by the Entrepreneurship Club.
“We change the name from Stabaz to Stanex because we wanted to rebrand the market of Stabaz into Stanex. What’s new in Stanex is that we want to grab this opportunity as the platform to instil the spirit of entrepreneurship in the students along with convocation fiesta that we currently have, ” said Mohd Syafiq who is the programme manager of the event.
There are a lot of food stalls, clothing booth and activities such as forum entitled Antara Cinta dan Kerjaya with well known public figure, Imam Muda Asyraf and Ustazah Isfadiah as speakers.
“I hope that our convocation fiesta is on par with convocation of other universities. What is special in Stanex 2016 is that we organised a lot of activities related with entrepreneurship and we want to ensure the newborn of entrepreneur and entrepreneur leadership in the future,” said Mohd Syafiq, a student from Kulliyyah of Engineering,
Entrepreneurship Club is under Entrepreneurship Development Centre IIUM (EDC) set up to help students turn their ideas into business and encourage them to imbue themselves with the spirit of entrepreneurship.***
