GOMBAK, 21 September 2016: About 500 students attended Student Representative Council (SRC) Annual Grand Meeting 2015/16 which was held at Main Auditorium today to witness the annual report of SRC 15/16 tenure and to dissolve the line up.

The SRC 2015/16 team was said to have done very well during their tenure of administration. More than 50 programmes and projects have been successfully held and some of them are still ongoing.

Respect, celebrate each other’s differences, and listen and understand the problems of students were the three main elements in their approaches that have kept the team together, said Muhammad Aiman Azahan, who was the previous SRC President.

According to the advisor, Kamal, “a leader must make a path and leave a trail” as a motivation for the SRC to keep serving the students’ welfare. He mentioned that he respected the commitment and dedication of SRC 2015/16 to serve the students in an efficient way.

No serious issues were raised during the meeting. The new SRC for 2016/17 will be voted in by the students this Thursday (22 September) at the respective venues.***
