GOMBAK, 22 April 2016: The Student Affairs Bureau of Psychology Students’ Association (PSYCSTA) of International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) recently organised a programme entitled ‘Movie Night Watch’ where the latest movie ‘Good Dinosaur’ was shown to about 50 audiences who attended the event.
This movie had also been reviewed by Elok Vradizza Feni, a second-year postgraduate Psychological Clinical and Counselling student.
Programme manager, Nurul Fartinah stated that “the objective of this programme was to enhance the understanding of the non- psychology students about psychology”.
She added: “This programme is also intended to raise funds for our charity that will be donated to one of our links, Pertubuhan Kasih Murni.”
One member of the audience, Fazlin Mahrus said: “This movie was very heart-warming. I felt homesick because he was separated from his family and I also felt sad because he needs to be apart from his friends at the end of the movie.”
This political science student also said that this movie contained many lessons that we can learn such as friendship, loyalty, loving and hardworking”.
The Good Dinosaur was shown on 11 November 2015 at cinemas around the world. This movie had gained $331 million USD overall profit and was listed as box office.***
