GOMBAK, 3 March 2016: IIUM students can collect their Baucar Buku 1Malaysia 2016 (BB1M) from today until 9 March, according to the Students Unit, Finance Division, in an announcement posted in its Facebook on Wednesday.
The disbursement of 1Malaysia Book voucher worth RM250 will be done according to matric number for undergraduate students. However, for postgraduate students (except for new direct intake G152) and all double degree students, they can collect the voucher from 3 March 2016 until 9 March 2016.
The counter for the disbursement of BB1M at the Main Auditorium will be open from 9.00 a.m till 4.30 p.m from 3 March 2016 until 9 March 2016.
According to Hafizudin Yahaya as quoted from his Facebook, “For students currently doing their internship, they can ask their friend to collect it for them by providing a copy of matric card, IC and letter of the internship attachment.”
BB1M was first introduced in 2012 by the Education Ministry to ease the financial burden of students and also to inculcate reading habits.***
