GOMBAK, 27 February 2016: The Kuliyyah of Language and Management Students’ Society (KLMSS) has successfully organised an induction programme for all new intake students to enlighten the freshmen about the significant roles of KLMSS, specifically for its students.

This programme was a day trip to Sungai Pisang Waterfall led by the senior committee members of KLMSS.

The president of KLMSS, Muhammad Izzat Mohd Ghazali said, “This programme is not only conducted to provide tons of briefings about KLMSS, however everyone should grab this opportunity to create a new bond of friendship and build a strong relationship between ENCOM, ARCOM, MLCOM and TPHM students.”

“Jungle trekking, hiking and barbecue were the best parts for attending this trip. We also gained many information and guidance about this kuliyyah from the seniors,” said Farhana Kadir, one of the participants who is a student from Tourism Planning and Hospitality Management (TPHM).

Many participants responded that this kind of trip should be organised to strengthen the bond between students.

“Those who have financial problems may inform or consult with me or any of the line-ups,” said Syazana Ishak, the Head of Welfare Division of KLMSS.

One of the significant reminders that was mentioned during the induction programme was that KLM will be providing financial support for the needy ones.

At the end of the programme, sharing moments and ‘Q&A’ session were held to help students for the beginning of the intellectual journey in IIUM.

“We are always here to listen to your voice about anything and we are ready to be the channel which connects the students with the administration of KLM,” said Muhammad Izzat. ***
