KUANTAN, 17 January 2016: IIUM SUKSIS involving 154 cadets were given the experience to shoot using the M-16 assault rifle and revolver at the Shooting Range of Tenggara Police Brigade, Bukit Galing today.

“The aim of this programme is to expose cadets to the handling of weapons. We also hope this training will give an overview of the types of weapons used by the Malaysian police force for our cadets,” said Programme Coordinator, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mohamad Fadzil Hashim, 51.

He said that the training is a must for all three levels in SUKSIS uniform squad. “It is important to know the correct handling of weapons such as M-16 as any mishandling will  bring negative impact to the user and their team,” he added.***
