GOMBAK, 7 December 2015: For the first time, IPRMSA (Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Students Association) – IIUM Chapter, is organising a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project for eight days from 4 until 11 December aimed at creating greater awareness among the campus community on those with disability.

This CSR project is a collaborative effort with the Department of Communication, IIUMToday, IIUM.fm and Communication Students Association (COSA).

The main objective of the project is to help and provide the disabled with appropriate support through fundraising activities.

Within this week, starting today, games and activities are held at the HS square. All students have been encouraged to participate in œGuessing Games from Monday to Friday, œCharity Sales on 9 December and “Give It Up” on 10 December.

The organisers hope that through this project the campus community would recognise the importance of helping others especially the disabled people.

In the spirit of being together as one community with a single aim and objective, the disabled community would not be forgotten as they could come together to help contribute towards nation building, according to the organisers.

The IPRMSA-IIUM Chapter has targeted to collect donations totalling RM7,000.00 over eight days.
