KUALA LUMPUR: The debts accumulated by 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) were a result of a "cashflow mismatch" following the firm’s failure to publicly list its energy companies, 1MDB president and group executive director Arul Kanda Kandasamy said today.
