“IIUMToday Raya” to enhance bonds between members

GOMBAK, 22 July 2017: IIUMToday held its Aidil Fitri gathering, “IIUMToday Raya”, on 21 July (Friday) afternoon which was attended by lecturers and students from the Department of Communication.

Head of IIUMToday’s Public Relations, Marsha Adibah said this small celebration hopefully could forge a new spirit of bond and unity for the members of IIUMToday. Not only that, the celebration would also enhance the bond between members and their lecturers.

“The celebration gives chances for the students and lecturers to keep in touch outside of the classroom as this gives an opportunity to know each other since not all members take the short semester,” she told IIUMToday.

“It is also a good platform for sharing of thoughts and asking for forgiveness for a new slate,” she added.

One member of IIUMToday said that the celebration was full of laughter and sunshine as everyone was laughing during the celebration while eating. ***
