IPRMSA effort at fund raising

The Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Students Association (IPRMSA) – IIUM Chapter, is organising a fundraising project during this week from 4 until 7 April aimed at collecting funds for their society.

“Our society is not provided with money or fund as compared to other societies, so this is our effort to raise money as we planned to organise a number of events,” said Naimah Ahmad Sazaki who is the Secretary of IPRMSA.

IPRMSA has planned to conduct a talk programme which would involve speakers from the industry. Last semester, IPRMSA had conducted a series of programme involving a number of speakers from the public relations and media industry.

The fund that is intended to be raised from this project would help to defray or meet the cost of organising our events.

“We intend to do rebranding which means changing our logo and doing printing work, and organising events, all these require fund,” Naimah said.

To achieve the objective, Naimah explained, the society is organising a booth located at HS Square which opens from 9 a.m until 3p.m. Items on sale consist of clothes, scarves, novels and books, and foodstuffs like nasi lemak, brownies, tea, ice cream and many more.

“We really hope that the campus community would support our effort by visiting our booth,” she added.***
