IIUM to hold Mouse Embryology Workshop

KUANTAN: A Workshop on Mouse Embryology (In-Vitro Fertilisation) to provide attendees with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of advances in cell culture, specifically in the mechanics of laboratory embryology, will be held on 4 until 5 September in IIUM campus, Kuantan.

The  workshop is organised by the Integrated Centre for Research Animal, Care & Use (ICRACU).

It will be facilitated by the Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs), Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suzanah Abdul Rahman, and clinical embryologist, Sr. Azantee Yazmie Abdul Wahab.

Culture techniques, quality control, sperm and oocytes preparation, process of fertilisation and morphology assessment for embryo selection, embryo handling and embryo grading techniques – these are topics that will be included within this workshop.

The workshop will be held at the ICRACU building, located in the IIUM Kuantan campus.
